Day 2 of the Poker EM Main Event at Casino Velden
Aleksandr, our Russian qualifier who was the first player of Team Intertops to be eliminated, did not go for a re-entry but instead decided to try his luck at a side event. He started playing Day 1A of the 'Wörthersee Poker Party' €300 + €30 tournament and is still enjoying his trip to Austria very much.
Chip Count after level 9:
Day 2 saw a lot of action and the field shrinking down to 27 players
A lot of players used the re-entry possibility which increased the prize pool to €600,000 with €144,000 for the first prize. 27 players in total will be taking home some nice extra bucks but unfortunately none of Team Intertops.
The first qualifier who head to leave the table was Hussain from Chicago, followed by Daniel from Hungary. Two-time Main Event winner Simon Boss from Switzerland had to leave the room as well quite early.

Eduardo was able to increase his stack with some nice hands before dinner break. He kicked out a player with QQ against AJ and won another hand with KK against QJ with K/10/9 on the flop. After the dinner break he was a bit unlucky when his AK lost against AQ with a Queen on the flop, shortening his stack down to 125K. After the next break he was out too.
Peter, our second Hungarian player and Daniel's friend had to leave after the break for the '30th anniversary show' too, reducing the player field down to 56, leaving Alex K., our second Russian player, as lonely Intertops survivor in the field. Alex played very well, making it to the final level of Day 2 but then busted with A9 against AK.
